​Mrs Sjostrand is a practising barrister (advocate) in England & Wales (Call 2003; studied at BPP Law School) and a qualified Russian lawyer (studied at MGIMO). Awarded the Major Scholarship of the Inner Temple (UK) and the Yeltsin Scholarship for academic Excellence (Russia). From 2004 to 2014 practised from a set of commercial/ chancery chambers in Lincoln's Inn (London) before setting up her own legal practice in 2014.

A trusted advisor to entrepreneurs, board members and investors, bringing integrity, thoroughness and independence in order to navigate complex matters, achieve a positive outcome and assist the decision-making process.

Practice covers a broad range of commercial, corporate and chancery matters: contracts and liability for their breach, international joint ventures, shareholders' rights and remedies, directors' duties, insolvency, trusts, jurisdictional challenges, enforcement of arbitration awards and other conflict of laws matters, etc.
